How AniQuiz works
Every question has four possible answers. You have 15 seconds to pick one; after that, the question counts as missed and the next one appears. After each answer, the game shows you the right one. The questions cover 113 anime, from classics like Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis Evangelion to recent series like Frieren, Jujutsu Kaisen and Solo Leveling: characters, powers, studios, air dates, nicknames and organizations.
Scoring and difficulty
A right answer is worth 1,000 points; a wrong answer or a timeout is worth nothing, so a perfect game scores 10,000. Questions are drawn at random from three levels, easy, medium and hard. If you mostly watch the big shōnen, you will still post a decent score, and veterans will sweat over studios and dates.
The daily quiz
Every day at midnight, Paris time, KODŌ draws five questions, the same for every player. It is the moment to compare scores with your friends. With a free account, your result enters the daily leaderboard.
Who is it for?
For fans who want a three-minute test between episodes, for throwing down a challenge in a Discord or WhatsApp group, or for warming up before a quiz night. If you would rather play together in real time, the KODŌ Tournament brings the quiz into a private room for 2 to 10 players.
